Good morning! Today’s card has me playing with this week’s Waltzingmouse Sketch. I loaded the card up with some of my new lace and a butterfly that I had cut yesterday but didn’t use. Still having fun inking up the Compact Sentiments stamps…I love the bold font! Have a wonderful Thursday! My goal is to start tackling those teacher boxes! EEK!

Thank You ~ CASE Study #99
Hello! It’s Wednesday evening so that means there is a new inspiration card up and ready to go over on the CASE Study blog. This week our sweet Muse, Kristii Lockart, is making me swoon with all the sweet details on this card…
I could not stop being inspired by this one…I broke out some October Afternoon vintage paper and miscellaneous elements along with some vanilla ribbon and a sweet tag. How adorable are all these things? Head over to the CASE Study blog to see what the Design Team is up to then join in! You’ll be glad you did! Toodles!

Hello Sunshine
Good morning! I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already! Today’s card is inspired by the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge. This week they want us to use “text.” I’m in! I kind of had a card in mind before I started (inspired by this card I made a couple of weeks ago) and I held to that picture minus a few details…after all, it’s a CAS challenge. And what I’ve learned about CAS is that sometimes it’s more about what you “don’t say” than what you do {wink!}. Oh, I wanted to add some bling and a butterfly overlapping the negative die cut, but NO! The only thing I let myself do was emboss the raised layer. I think the butterfly embossing folder was the perfect choice. OH, I am loving the PTI Big Favourites stamp sets. I’ve use every sentiment in this one set I have and plan on getting another one. LOVE the super size! Thanks for visiting and make sure to come back tonight for my CASE Study post :) Hugs!

Happy B-Day
Happy Monday morning! Yep, that’s the Monday greeting here all summer long! It’s my second week of vacation and I’ve kept up with all my little to do jobs so far! Woohoo! I’ll continue with a new list this week, unpacking a few more boxes as well as starting to go through my teacher boxes here at home. Today’s card is for Jen’s July Sketch for You to Try. It’s sponsored this month by My Favourite Things Stamps! ACK! Now I do have LOTS of MFT dies and stamps, including some brand new spanking ones that arrived here Friday :) I just had to add a few shapes to the original sketch so I could use the fun new license plate die and stamps :) Here are some of the fun sayings you can make with them!
I also got the mini banner die and stamp set and used the sweet little letters to stamp out “happy.” Hope your week is wonderful! Thanks for stopping by!

Let Us Be Grateful
Good morning! It’s a beautiful, sunny, soon to be HOT day here in BC! I know I’ve mentioned what a wonderful staff I have at my new school, but I don’t know if I’ve mentioned the fabulous parents I’ve had over the past 2 years as well. One thing I missed working at my old school is visiting with the parents on field trips, during interviews and in the hall after school. I love telling them some funny little anecdote about their children or how our day went. The last day of school is always a whirlwind and I didn’t get to see or talk to all the parents. Many left me sweet and thoughtful gifts on my desk as a result and I wasn’t able to thank them in person. So I made sure I took my address book home with me on the last day so I could send them all cards. I kept them CAS so they would mail easily plus I had several to make! This is what I came up with. I stamped the fun MFT teacher image first…
and then made a mask of her with a sticky note…
…then I stamped the note paper in Soft Sky and the sentiment in Ruby Red. I just wanted all of them to know how much their kind words and thoughtful gifts meant to me :) Have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for popping by :)

Celebrate Good Times!
Good morning! Today is a good day to celebrate! The dh and I are celebrating 5 years of marriage and we are going to a wedding! Guaranteed we are going to kiss when they clink the glasses, our wedding or not! I may even start a few rounds! LOL I loved that part of our reception, though I know many couples find it tedious…not us…we loved it! ACK! When I saw the colours for this week’s colourQ challenge, I thought of this Verve blossom stamp from the Great Friend set.
I’ll leave you with a wedding photo from the big day 5 years ago (07-07-07) AND the card that Tony is getting today :) I actually made it last August during the Verve Anni-VERVE-sary Release. See the original post here for a fun little story about the set I used! LOL How’s that for being organized!
I hope your day is sunny and if you leave a sweet comment today, tell me a love story :) Cheers!
