Thanks Ever So Much ~ CASE Study # 124

thankseversomuch

Hi!  First up, I’m ever so grateful for everyone’s kind comments on my Moxie Fabber of the Week post (HERE on my blog and HERE on the Moxie Fab World blog).  Y’all know how to make a gal smile ear to ear and back again!  But let’s get onto the fun new inspiration photo from the new CASE Study blog challenge.  Our fabulous Muse, Amber, is treating us to a CAS beauty.

Now, you know I’ve been dabbling in CAS, but I couldn’t for the life of me make this CAS!  This is what came out of my stamping session! LOL  I was inspired by the Rosie Posie flower and colours.  This is the FIRST time I’ve inked up Rosie Posie! Can you believe it?!  Take a look at the Design Team’s take on this week’s card over on the CASE Study blog or directly on their blogs…and then join in the fun!

I’m Moxie Fab!

bemyvalentinemaureenplut

Good morning friends!  If you visited yesterday, I hinted at a fun announcement here on the blog today.  Cath from Moxie Fab World contacted me last month and asked if I’d like to be a Moxie Fabber of the Week.  It’s one of those questions you say YES to right away…like, “Would you like to leave early from work today?” “Can I top up your coffee?” “Wanna go to Stamp-a-faire and stay with me?” {wink, wink, Lynn!}.  So if you head over to the Moxie Fab World, you’ll see little ol’ me and my thoughts on this hobby I have a great passion for (not to mention some name dropping! ACK!).  Today’s card was me wanting to have something to share along with this announcement.  I’ve been looking for a true non traditional Valentine colour palette (not just adding light blue to pink and red) and I think I found it thanks to Bo Bunny’s Love Letter paper! I’m using 2 of the brand new stamp sets from Clearly Besotted Stamps, Post It: Love designed by my dear Duchess (Aimes Wanford) and Paired Up.

I created a little banner of the sweet postmarks and used a couple of staples to fasten the sentiment tab to the card (that’s for you, Duchess!).  Thanks for visiting!  Have a great start to your week!

Happy Valentine’s Day

bemine

Good morning!  My new Valentine paper arrived so I’ve been cutting into it and pairing it with the newly released Verve set  No Matter What.  I’m using this week’s  Retro Sketches layout to create a masculine card.  I’m all for the frilly frilly cards, but sometimes you need a toned down one for the boys :)  Thanks for stopping by!  Come back tomorrow for a fun announcement just after 9:00 AM (PST)!

Verve Stamp Release {no matter what!}

foreverandalwaysmaureenplut

Welcome to our No Matter What Hop!  Today we're releasing a lovely little set that you might have spied during Verve's Thanksgiving weekend sale. It's officially available for sale now, along with three brand new color collections of seam binding! There's a lot of eye candy today, so hop along with us for a chance to win some brand new Verve!

My card features 2 new sentiments from No Matter What.  I wanted to show you that all the large sentiments fit perfectly into the Hearts and Swirls stamp and die.  It also wouldn’t be a true Verve Valentine card without the fabulous Jotted Heart die and matching image from Love Notes :)  If you think the heart looks a tad bit longer, it is!  I cut the heart in half (eek!) and elongated it to fit perfectly behind the hearts and swirls die.  Today’s card also uses the brand new Viva La Verve sketch.  I’m hosting this week, so come visit over in the forum for some fun chit chat and inspiration before playing along.

As we're saying hello to a few new products today, we also say goodbye to a couple dear designers. This is our final hop with Amy and Tosh as part of the Divahood, so be sure to let them know how much their AMAZING Verve creations have inspired you.

So... want to know about the prizes? We're picking THREE mystery blogs from today's hop to select a random commenter to win No Matter What plus one of our three new collections of ribbon! So be sure to give a little shout out in the comment section as you hop around to each blog on the list. Winners will be drawn from all of the comments on the mystery blogs. Check out the Verve Blog for all the prize details and deadlines. Enjoy the rest of the hop!

Just for You

justforyoumaureenplut

Good morning friends!  With most of my stamping duties done for the rest of the week, I was able to sit down with some lovely Clearly Besotted Stamps from their second release.  I was going to use some text paper for the half and half die panel, but then realized I could make my own with Background Builder!  Cool!

Background_Builder_Copyright_large

The sweet and whimsical sentiment is from Full of Surprise :)

Head over to the Clearly Besotted Store to see these sets as well as a whole lot of new ones just recently released!  You’ll love what you see :)  Woohoo! The week is half over!  Enjoy!
