Do Not Adjust Your Screen...Jen's SFYTT

Good afternoon! Well, it's been a busy day here...workout, house cleaning, washing the car, laundry, errands...and not even a latte yet!! I'm all done and now want to spend some time in the studio. My dear friend, who introduced me to card blogs over a year ago (YES YOU DID, Melisa!!), and I are heading out tomorrow on a little road trip :) Shoes and paper are on our shopping lists! Anyways, do not adjust your screen...this is a button bouquet, but with different coloured buttons :) This has turned into a serious addiction now...I don't even think butterflies will pull me out of it LOL! I love this sketch from Jen. It's a great way to use patterned paper. I also tied my bow the way Nicole Heady demonstrated on her blog a few months ago. I like it because it's flatter than normal and turns out perfect every time. Some new PTI green tea leaves again and voila!! Oh, and one last thing, the button on the bow is really vintage! My mom's dad (my grandpa who died before I was born) had some job in textiles and mom had all these old button boxes in a cupboard. I needed a bunch for a class project years ago and mom said I could keep them!! Wow! I love them! Happy weekend!!

Recipe:

Stamps:PTI mega mixed messages; SU flower filled

Paper: PTI green tea dp, ocean tide; SU vanilla, soft suede, old olive

Ink: SU choc chip, old olive

Accessories: circle nestabilities; SU celery grosgrain, linen thread; PTI and basicgrey buttons; Grandpa's button collection (large white one)

Oooooo Beautiful!!! Lovin' the colors! I love that green tea designer paper, but cant ever talk my self into buying it. I have a hard time using PP so it just sits there and never gets used.

I am totally addicted to that stamp set! It just makes the most amazing cards! I love the mellow colors you chose to use on this card... I may need to get some of that tea leaves dp. I've been procrastinating, lol.
