Home for the Holidays ~ Verve's Project Parade

Ah, good morning lovely blog buddies!! It's Friday...my favourite day, although today is the start of report card weekend...ah, but it will all be over soon enough. I was going to allow myself a few days of no posts, but I usually look for any little distraction at this time of year...to give me a little break :) This is my first "project!" I'm not a project person...usually just a card girl...but I got this PTI Timeless Template a month ago and thought that the Verve Project Parade would be the best place to try it out. It was my first time doing one of these and at first I thought, "Hey, I'm not Martha Stewart!" LOL There were a lot of steps, but after making my first one, the others will be easier now that I see how all the pieces go together. I used one of my lovely new Verve stamps and punched out some Martha Stewart snowflakes from glitter paper. That gorgeous aqua paper is from Michaels!! I love it and it was on sale this week!


Ah, now open it up and YUM!! A few gorgeous cards, some hot chocolate, some chocolate, and some of Starbucks new VIA packs!! All my favourite things in one little gift (minus my dh!!) LOL!! Wouldn't this make a lovely hostess gift? I'm waiting for my invites!! LOL
