My Thoughts Today {on some organization}

everythought

Good morning everyone!!  No challenges or special events happening here today…just some good old fashioned playing around.  I mixed some Basicgrey Curio and Pyrus together for the quilted background.  The extra large eyelet die is from PTI…the loops are a bit thicker than the Spellbinders lacey circle dies.  Heidi over at Heidi’s Happenings asked how I stored my beloved Verve Stamps, so I took a few shots of my binders :)  The covers are a lovely turquoise blue like Julee’s Verve colours :)  The sleeves are either page sleeves, photo sleeves or trading card sleeves…I don’t have them in any particular order, just as I get them.  However, all the larger sets are together and  the small sets are behind the plain janes. When I get them, I take them out of the plastic envelope and attach them to cardstock with Scor Tape.  This is NOT my idea, but one I saw on Splitcoast.  I thought of going the CD cover route, but I’ve had too many crack and fall apart.  I love the ease of flipping through the binders to find the perfect stamp :)  Oh, one last thing!! I just received an Verve newsletter email saying that there is a ONE DAY sale over at the Verve Store in honour of Julee’s husband’s (Mark) birthday!!  Woot, woot!! Check it out!!   Okay, that’s it for me…have a lovely day and thanks for visiting :)

Maureen,
I love this card...the colors on the papers are beautiful! Thanks for the organization tips...definitely need them...I'm getting overwhelmed by broken CD cases! So nice to hear you had a great weekend with your son...I'm sure the kids loved him being in your class yesterday!

Such a pretty card! I'm hoping to pick up a sewing machine for my birthday so I can do a little more oomph to my cards. I love the edge you've used and that gorgeous flower. When I get my felt & dies.....sooooo CASEing your amazing floral displays.

Thanks for sharing your organization tips. I think I'm going to have to look into this as my Verve stamps are currently suffering from some disastrous "organization".

Maureen, the card with all the patterns and stitching is fabulous! Beautifully done!

As for the organization...I may just have to do something like this. Love the ease of use with binders instead of CDs...which give me fits...lol! This is great!

Maureen-

So glad I didn't miss this organization tip. I have a bunch of my unmounted stamps in binders and had not really thought about this for VERVE. All my verve are in a drawer, some in the packages and others just laying in there. I have to go through each one to find what I want- so this may be a better options. I think that I understand how you put them in there. I bet hubby has some of the card pockets.....Thanks for the idea!
