Good Heavens!

goodheavensmaureenplut

Hi everyone!  I’m sneaking a card in today before things get really crazy here.  Crazy in the sense that I get my fake gel nails put on today (for the wedding) and am not sure how much card making I’ll be able to do with them on! HA!  I remember getting fake nails for my wedding and I could barely do up buttons let alone peel any backing off of stickers or adhesive tape!  Let’s hope the new advancement in nails since 2007 have corrected this problem! LOL  Now, one thing I LOVE about having the summer off is spending Monday morning with a coffee and the PTI’s Make it Monday video.  Double bonus when it happens to be Dawn’s video {SMILE!}.  We were shown how to make a background with 2 different background stamps.  I went all vintage-y with Dawn’s newsprint set and a chicken wire background stamp.  Okay…I’m off to the gym and then for the mani/pedi.  I’ll let you know how the nails work in the studio.  AND if any of you have gel nails, how are they working for you while creating?  Thanks!

Simply perfection, Maureen. From the yellow roses to the double background, stunning! Good luck with those nails, I hear they're a bit more natural than the paste ons. Wore them for years and loved the stories shared at the manicurist's! Have a wonderful time at the wedding!

Hope you're adjusting to your new nails! I used to have mine done, then I had babies and felt ridiculous changing diapers with glamorous nails. :) I adore the background you've stamped and the bold yellow flowers!
