Congrats and some Exciting News!

congratsclearlybesotted
Good morning!  Well, it’s been probably the worst kept secret here, but I can officially announce that I’m officially on the Clearly Besotted Stamps design team!  Stephanie, the owner and illustrator, is such a sweetie and has graciously allowed me to be in good company with her and the other design team members.  So in honour of this announcement, I thought I should break open the new stamps and create a card for one of my nephews who has recently graduated from Film School.  I’ve used 2 of the 12 new sets just released.  The sentiment and dotted line frame are from Framed Sentiments and the leaf images are from Leafy Accents.

To add to the celebrations, Stephanie is giving away some sets to one lucky commenter on THIS POST.  Thanks so much for celebrating with me today :)  Check out all the Clearly Besotted Stamps in the STORE!  Have a great day.  It’s Rudolph Day in class so there will be dancing, stories, rip art, magic reindeer dust, the original Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer movie AND Rudolph cupcakes! ACK! I can’t wait!

This Christmas and Always

greenpeacelovejoymplut

Hello dear friends.  Just popping in quickly with another Christmas card I made for a colleague.  I LOVED the card I made last week for Jen’s Sketch for you to Try and knew I would have to make another one.  I switched up some of the colours and papers, but it’s basically the same card.  I’ve got all the Christmas shopping done and wrapped, the baking is done, now we’ve just got the guest sleeping arrangements to set up.  I’m still on track at home AND at work!  Woohoo!  Hope all is well with you…thanks for stopping by :)

A Christmas Thank You

christmasthankyoutrigger

Good morning!  It’s Saturday morning and I’m up early to grab a coffee and head out before the crowds!  I’m sure I’ve told you more than once about how lovely my students’ parents are.  I have lucked out again with such thoughtful and helpful moms and dads.  Last week and this week, I’ve had a mom come in to help with our clay project.  She is so sweet and gentle with the kids and her help was so appreciated by me :)  I thought a special Christmas thank you card was in order :)  I took great inspiration from this week’s Trigger Tuesday over on the Moxie Fab World blog.  Feast your eyes on this delicious picture!

It's Time to Sparkledec16

Gold and silver and white, oh YES!  I’ve used gold embossing on the frame stamp on top of a silver doily to add some shimmer and shine.  And to pour it on more, some gold bells tied with silver cording.  Have a fantabulous day!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas Darling

vlvweek3merrychristmasdarling

Greetings this lovely Friday morning!!  It’s my favourite day of the week AND another fun sketch over on the Viva La Verve forum!  This week’s sketch was the perfect one to inspire me to make the dh’s Christmas card.  I had to keep it masculine with a bit of nature to reflect my sweet husband.  I’ve used my brand spankin’ new October Afternoon Make it Merry paper, sentiments from Merry and Bright, the Verve Winter Fun tree and another little tab with a sweet Small Phrases sentiment.  Head over to the Viva La Verve forum for more details about this week’s sketch and how YOU could win $100 in Verve money!  AND if you can’t wait to go shopping, check out the SALE going on now in the Verve Store :)

What's on Sale?

Through December 23, save 10-33% on the stamps and dies below.

Have a glorious start to your weekend.  I’m finishing up the baking and we’re going Christmas tree hunting!  Woohoo!

Merry Christmas ~ CASE Study # 121

merrychristmas

Hi everyone!  Welcome to another fun week over on the CASE Study Blog!  Our super talented December Muse, Windy Robinson, has another gorgeous card to inspire us with.  I just had to use some more of the gorgeous ribbon the sweet people over at The Ribbon Carousel sent me this month.  The pink seam binding ribbon has a bit of shimmer to it so I thought it would be perfect for my festive card.  I was inspired by the ribbon, silver bells and Christmas theme…

A Merry Christmas to You

merrychristmastoyou

Greetings friends!  In between baking and a bit of home decorating this weekend, I played with this week’s Waltzingmouse Sketch.  I love giving the Vintage Ornaments stamps lots of love at Christmas as they will soon be put away for another year.  I took another cue from Echo Park’s beautiful Winter Wishes paper for the colour combo.  White seam binding, jingle bells and bakers twine…no surprise there!  I will confess that I shake my bell cards to hear them jingle!  Such a joyful sound!  We’ve got Christmas Concerts and gingerbread houses on the go this week :)  It’s gonna be FUN! Thanks for stopping by and have a merry day!

This Christmas and Always

Peacejoyhope

Good morning!  It’s baking weekend here when I start the baking for Christmas.  I’ve toned it down over the years so I’m only making a few favourites and a couple of new goodies found on Pinterest :)  Today’s card is for the twelfth and final Jen’s Sketch for You to Try this year.  It’s also the final sketch ever as Jen puts to rest her fun sketch challenge.  It’s been a great ride, Jen!  I was in the mood for a white, silver and blue card with my addiction at the 'mo’, white seam binding and jingle bells :)

To qualify for all the fun prizes we have to list our year long entries…so here goes! I thought I’d include little pic of each card too :)  Hey, it’s Saturday morning! LOL
