New Paper for Mercy's Sketch

Good morning! I must say I had the best day yesterday :) I got caught up on my challenges, went to Michael's with my dh (showed him The Slice, wink, wink) and went to Starbucks for the first bliss bar of the season :) Do you know the Toby Keith song, "I Love this Bar?" Well, I'd like to change the words to "I Love this Card!" I do, I love it!! I love the pink and aqua and white and that plaid paper, oh my!!! My order of this Basicgrey Eskimo Kisses (Inuit Smooches for us Canadians!! LOL) came early Tuesday morning as I was heading out the door to work. I waited over 2 weeks for it!! I had to have it after seeing Michelle's card during the last Verve release. I braved the custom taxes AND the handling fee...hey!! I never asked anyone to handle it, hands off!! But someone in a blue uniform touched my paper and punch and charged me $5.00 for the priviledge!! That's how much I had to have this paper!! LOL I hope you all love it too :) Have a wonderful Thursday, TGIF tomorrow!! Yee-haww!!!

What's in it?
Stamps: SU snowflakes
Ink: SU choc chip
Paper: SU kraft; PTI aquamist, white, hibiscus, sweet blush; Basicgrey Eskimo Kisses
Accessories: cuttlebug ef, fiskars apron punch, satin ribbon, SU felt flurries and linen thread; PTI buttons,

This is wonderful!!! Don't you just love working with that paper? I love mine too. Where did you get it?? I usually buy a bunch on ebay and make sure the order is under $20 that way it doesn't get dinged at customes.

Love that ribbon!! You always know how to incorporate it so beautifully. That's my biggest challenge.

Great job with Mercy's sketch, Maureen :D It's on my hit list for today or tomorrow, depending on whether the kids cooperate and let me have some mommy time LOL!

Darling card. Love the colour combo and that big aqua bow with the flower and button. Stampers need to put a book together with stories about what they have done to get something they "need" for their craft LOL! I may have an entry for it re: trying to get that border punch LOL!

Maureen - you are absolutely right! This paper is fabulous! I love it. Your card is beautiful! I've been looking for BG figgy pudding but it's proving to be a bit elusive... Have a great day!
