Sweetest Holiday Wishes

Monday greetings to all my blog buddies and new visitors!! It's the beginning of a short week with Wednesday being our Stat holiday :) Remembrance Day is always my last day off before starting report cards. Today's card is for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge and what a sweet card it is (YUM!!). I can just taste the gingerbread :) I was a good girl this week and did nothing to alter the orientation of the sketch, although I added some embellishments. I originally wanted 3 gingerbread men across the main panel, but when I actually inked up this image for the first time, I noticed how big it really was. The top left corner was very plain and when I asked my dh what should go there, he suggested a snowflake!! Perfect, honey, thanks!! LOL He is now officially my creative assistant :) I am loving my Holiday Button Bits...a must-have set if you don't have it yet :) Have a wonderful day...no staff meeting and a short week...I am blessed!!

What's in it?
Stamps: PTI Holiday Button Bits
Ink: SU choc chip, perfect plum
Paper: PTI white, avocado, SU kraft, perfect plum, Michaels dp
Accessories: satin ribbon, fiskars apron punch, SU horizontal punch, SU felt flurries and linen thread, Grandpa's buttons, PTI buttons, cuttlebug ef

What a beauty, Maureen! Love that darn set - I'm having a really hard time choosing sets because there's so many I want and so few my budget will allow. HAHA

You did a perfect job on the sketch - and an admirable job of restraining your rebel self =)
