Wedding Card for Cinema Saturday

Hey blog buddies!! Some exciting news this week!! I was chosen to be the Guest Designer again over at Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge!!! :D My Legally Blonde card caught the eyes of Brooke and Sankari :) Thanks, ladies!! Can't wait to play :) This card is for this week's challenge. The movie is My Big Fat Greek Wedding!!! Who didn't love this sleeper hit? I had to laugh when I saw the movie title because my dh and I were talking about it Friday night. We were laughing at the part when the brother says to Ian, "I can kill you and make it look like an accident." OMG, that was so funny. Also loved when her aunt, after being told Ian's parents are vegetarian, said, "I'll serve pork!" Crazy family scenes that everyone can relate to. The requirement this week was to make a wedding card :) Awww, so I broke out my trusty bride and groom stamp and printed off my favourite wedding sentiment (that I hope Julee makes into a stamp one day...Sankari, help me on this one, Diva!! Just sayin'!) I wanted to use my new Ever After dp that my card making blog buddy, Laural gave to me...thanks again!! I couldn't believe my good fortune as I've been drooling over this paper ever since Julee started using it on her blog a few months ago. I hope I made Laural proud! Have a great day and remember to join me on Saturday for my Guest Designer spot!!

What's in it?

I'm certain you have done Laural proud - it's GORGEOUS! Awesome job....I agree - this quote definitely needs to be made into a stamp!
I'm so not surprised by your guest designer appearance again - you're amazing, Maureen!

I was right! The paper was much better off in your hands than collecting dust in my paper bin. I knew you'd be able to do something beautiful with it. This is fantastic. Love the colours, the silhouette and the organza ribbon and flower. Beautiful!

Congrats on the Guest Designer spot :D You go girl! Great card too. Wonderful DP and the sentiment is fabulous! I loved that movie -- especially the part where the mother says (can't recall the exact quote) "The man thinks he is the head, but the woman controls the neck and makes the head turn anywhere she wants" Definitely need to watch that one again.
