Hi everyone! I’m back today with my take on the next Festive Friday challenge. This time we are asked to make something with a children’s theme. I was going to go with a neon or rainbow card, but got off track (something I do often in the studio!) when I saw this photo paper in my October Afternoon Make it Merry pack. I LOVE photo cards so I thought this little guy would be my connection to the theme. I adore the teal/red vintage papers and, of course, the poinsettias from Bells and Boughs. Have a great day! Thanks for spending a few minutes with me :)

How absolutely adorable. I love the vintage photo. It is oh so sweet...and it may be time for me to get out my picture frame die again!
What a sweet card Maureen! Love the vintage feel.
I love this, the stitching around the edge, and the pretty colors...fabulous!
Love that bell paper and such a darling photo. Those poinsettias are always a hit with me too. Wonderfully done as always :)
That's such a cool way to interpret the theme! I have to say, I am blown away at all the different takes on this one, I am loving it. I wouldn't have a clue how to use this kind of image, but you did such a great job with it! And I LOVE those OA papers, I am using my pad SO. SPARINGLY.
Thanks as always, friend!!
Great vintage image - I'm sure we all have some like that somewhere! Thanks for joining us at Festive Friday!
Really sweet, Maureen! Those little poinsettias are the perfect little accents for your frame...love the sizes of those and the way they 'snuggle up' together...I've notices them on other cards of yours before. And I love that you brought out the blue in your little banner accent! Such a lovely card!!! Delighted to see it in the Festive Friday gallery!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I love everything about this, Maureen! You make such gorgeous cards. *sigh*
I know that I have been MIA...lately I am not in the mood to browse blogs - I am too lazy to learn these new blog readers!
A while back you asked if I've been submitting - no. :( Not feeling up to that, either! I've sold off a ton of stuff and haven't even been buying anything. I don't know what's wrong with me!
This is such a sweet card, Maureen. The photo image says it all. and the choice of vintage papers were the perfect touch! Lovely trims too!
Wow, just divine!!! I am crushing on this BIG TIME!!
