Good morning! Just popping in quickly with another Mother’s Day card I made with my Tuesday Trigger card on Sunday. Some of the same materials along with another one of Michelle Wooderson’s Instagram photos. I was also experimenting with some Mr. Huey spray! EEK! I need to work on my lead finger! LOL Thanks for stopping by…make sure to come back for a fun little announcement tomorrow morning! {wink!}

Peace, Joy and Love
Good morning! There’s a new challenge over on the Festive Friday blog. We are asked to use birds on our Christmas card. Back into the closet I went to dig out my Christmas paper. This time I went for Authentique’s Peaceful because of the bird images (nicely covered up by the yummy seam binding ribbon) and Pink Paislee’s City Sidewalks. I love the look of long tails on the bakers twine reminding me of candy canes. I even snuck some sequins on! Woohoo! I found a great pack of neutrals at the Dollar Store :) I used small glue dots to adhere them. Hope you’re having a great start to your week!
what’s in it?
stamps: Bright Spirits (Verve)
paper: rustic white (PTI), Pink Paislee (City Sidewalks), Peaceful (Authentique)
ink: onyx (Versafine)
accessories: journal card (Pink Paislee), cream ribbon (Etsy shop), wood bird (Studio Calico), bakers twine (Doodlebug), button (PTI), gem (Kaisercraft), sequins (Dollar Store)

Sending Birthday Hugs & Wishes ~ PTI Blog Hop
Good morning! Welcome to my Papertrey Ink Blog Hop post! I was so thrilled with this month’s challenge…just look at all this inspiration!
The tilted butterfly at the top reminded me of this BIG butterfly die I’ve had for ages but have never used because of its size. However, I think it’s perfect for today’s challenge. I die cut it out of glitter cardstock and glued it onto a hexagon embossed panel for some visual texture. I kept the “tilted” theme going with the banner and bakers twine. I remembered Nichole’s tip a few years ago to use a hole punch to help your twine stay in place…in this case, on the diagonal. Some gems and enamel dots complete the whimsy :) Thanks so much for visiting and for all your kind comments :) I’m looking forward to seeing all the lovely creations after work :) Have a great hop!

Congratulations! ~ CASE Study #138
Hello again! There’s a new challenge just up over on the CASE Study blog. We are enjoying one last week with the talented JJ Bolton from Ribbon Girls! Let’s get straight to the inspiration card…
I had a few different ideas for my card this week, but when I sat down to make it, I thought “Baby Boy card.” I took the white and blue and pop of yellow to help create a fun baby card. AND because I’ve been making 2 cards at a time lately, I made a girl version!
How does JJ’s card speak to you? Head over to the CASE Study blog or visit each of the Design Team Members directly on their blogs below and then join in the fun! Thanks for visiting!

March CARDS Publications
Good morning! Did you think I was pretending it was my birthday again when you saw this first card? Ah, sadly the widget on my sidebar says it’s still 328 days until my birthday. I’m sharing my March publications in CARDS magazine. I was so excited to get a St. Patty’s day one in there. I submitted one about 2 years ago and it wasn’t picked up! It bruised my ego a bit since it’s MY day!! LOL I didn’t have the heart to make another one just to be rejected again until this card formed in my head last fall (when it was submitted). I saw a flowing ombre of shamrocks. So that’s what I made. Here are the rest of the cards…
Thanks for stopping by! I had a busy day yesterday changing the closet over from my winter shoes and boots to sandals and flip flops! The weatherman promises sunny skies from now on! Fingers crossed! I’m also organizing my old supplies into fun little goodie bags for our massive community garage sale in 2 weeks. Out with the old and in with the new!

Enjoy Your Day!
Good morning! Today I have 2 cards to share. I’m using the Retro Sketches layout for both cards and some new Basicgrey Kneehighs paper. Can I say how much I LOVE this paper!? LOVE.LOVE.LOVE! It is the perfect mix of geometric and floral papers in super fun colours! I’ve also used my Rosie Posie Step 2 set for the first time! And to think I was thinking about selling the original Rosie Posie! EEK! These additions are just what a non Copic colourer needs! I’m using the circular flower which fits perfectly in the Limitless Layers scalloped circle!
This next card uses some of that fun floral paper I was telling you about. I took the colours from the paper to ink up the leaves (PTI aquamist and SU Starfruit). I was making 2 cards at a time yesterday to fill in some gaps in my card stash. Kind of like making 2 lasagnas at once…you’ve got all the ingredients out, might as well make two :) Have a lovely day :)
what’s in them?

You Ring My Bell
Good morning! Today I’m sharing another commissioned card. My colleague, Donna and her husband are celebrating their first anniversary. Now, I must let you know that Donna and Duff are a super fun couple. I didn’t know they were running off to Vegas to get married last Spring. I found out through Donna’s Facebook updates and photos. Here’s the happy couple AKA Vegas Elvis and Marilyn :)
When I knew what they had done in Vegas, I jumped into action and made this card to welcome Donna back to work the next week :) As Faith Hill would sing, they “bet on love and let it ride.”
So Donna approached me last week and asked if I’d make her handsome groom a special card. It was so fun to play around with her picture and some masculine elements. As much as I worry if the recipient will love his/her card, I do have fun with the creative process. Donna was great and after we had the picture and sentiment worked out, she said, “Surprise me!” I can work like that! Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
edited to add: Donna loved the card when I presented it to her on Thursday. I’m sure her husband will too :)
what’s in it?

Happy Birthday
Happy Friday everyone! Let’s start the weekend off right with a new sketch AND inspiration photo over on the Viva La Verve forum. I took some colours and the butterfly from the inspiration photo and then played around with the sketch elements. There’s no ribbon in this week’s sketch, but I really wanted to use some more of Verve’s Spring Fling ribbon ‘cause that’s just me and it is so delicious! I’m using a sweet birthday sentiment from Small Celebrations which just so happens to be ON SALE right now in the Verve Store. For LOTS more details about today’s challenge, check out the Viva La Verve forum! It’s a great way to start the weekend. Woohoo! Cheers!

You are So Sweet ~ CASE Study #137
Hello again! There’s a new challenge just up over on the CASE Study blog. We continue to get our CAS on with the amazingly talented JJ Bolton from Ribbon Girls! Get ready for this…
What can I say except the colour against the white and a negative die cut were my inspirations this week. I bought some neon glitter at Michaels during Spring Break and have been waiting for the perfect project to start using them. I used Stampin’ Up’s heat and stick to make the glitter stay on some cardstock then punched out different sized circles and a couple of “sweet” hearts. Then came the fun of laying them here and there and everywhere on the card until I liked what I saw. Here’s my desk mid process…

Sending Oodles of Love ~ Waltzingmouse Blog Party
Good morning! It’s the 17th of the month which means there’s a party going on over at the Waltzingmouse Blog!
This month’s theme is Spring Flowers. Though I have MANY Waltzingmouse Stamp sets, I have very few floral sets! I really had to dig to find these sweet little French Country flowers in the French Country Set. I had envisioned making a flower out of the petal image, but it looked better in my head than on cardstock…lol. So then I decided to make a pretty background with the other little floral images in the set. I LOVE IT! To add to the “flower” theme, I pulled out 1 of the 3 burlap flowers I have (yes, I’m hoarding!) and liked the contrast it gave against those sweet pink and tangerine blooms. Thanks for visiting! I can’t wait to see what everyone makes today :)

Hello There
Good morning! I had a little time to start playing with some new goodies that arrived last week. I couldn’t resist Maile’s new PTI set, Mini Blooms, despite the teeny tiny size of the dies! LOL So I dove right in and started to experiment. I thought this week’s Retro Sketch layout would be perfect with the little doodads on the top of the banner.
For the flower centers I ripped open some new enamel dots :) Oh, a matte version of bling! I love them! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great start to your week :)
