Happy Mother’s Day

mother'sdaycolourq

Good morning!! Today’s card uses the “interesting” cool colours of green and blue from this week’s Colour Q challenge.  I had a real funky card in my head, using lots of circles,l but it didn’t translate well to paper.  I will file that idea, though, and revisit it one day, as I think it would look very cool.  So this little number was the runner up! lol  I kept the idea of circles with the doilies and used bits of the challenge colours with the crisp clean look of white.  Soooooo, something exciting happened yesterday!!  We broke ground on the new house!!  It still looks like a pile of dirt, but there is definitely a hole there!! LOL  I will keep you all informed on the update.  I work a few minutes away from our lot, so it’s fun to drop by after work and see the progress.  Thanks for stopping by…what are YOU excited about today?

Love your card, Maureen! Exciting about your house. I was looking at family pictures on the computer yesterday and found pictures my dad had taken when our family house was being built in 1967! Be sure and take pictures! Thanks for joining us at the ColourQ this week.
