Good morning! Today's card is the first installment for the Viva La Verve sketches 2010. The twists this year are inspiration pictures posted by Amber on the Verve Forum. The colours and flower images really spoke to me. I used my Cuttlebug flower dies to cut out these felt flowers and my new Thankful Hearts set for the sentiment...I just love that font Julee created :)
I made a few cards for the challenge so I could play with different flowers. The second card's flowers were cut with my Slice machine, stamped with a French Script stamp, crumpled, then adhered with a button. Cosmo Cricket dp (of course) and some PTI buttons complete the sketch :) This card is for all you wonderful blog friends...I am still counting my blessings!! {hugs and smiles}

Oh, see, now I have to go get some felt. LOVE those felt flowers! I'm seeing more and more felt out there in the blog-o-sphere, but this may be one of my favorite uses of it so far. The colors on both cards are fantastic as well. I love your simple white background... it really makes the colors pop all that much more. And I totally agree about Julee's fonts. I adore them!
